Rhinoceros Kit for A7RV A7IV
- Aluminum Cage for Cameras
- For A7R-V/A7-IV/A7S-III
- 1/4" and 3/8" Threads
- 2x Cold Shoe Mounts
SmallRig "Rhinoceros" Advanced Cage Kit for Sony Alpha 7R V / Alpha 7 IV / Alpha 7S III 3710 is designed to reduce burdens on arms, increase stability, and provide accessory mounting points. The kit includes a cage, a top handle, a side handle, and an HDMI cable clamp. The cage and the two handles are portable for being made of lighter carbon fiber, hence longer handheld shooting. For the cage, a locating pin, a 1/4"-20 screw, and an M2.5 screw together lock the camera firmly. It features a clean streamlined design that gives full access to the top buttons. The top handle feels comfortable to carry and take a low-angle shot; the side handle, made of light carbon fiber and PU leather, makes for a pleasant and firm grip. and the HDMI cable clamp, tightened via a flat-head screw, protects the interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission. Also, the kit comes with 1/4"-20 threaded holes for Magic Arm 3873, cold shoe mounts for the microphone, LED video light, and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes for Side Handle 2914. A NATO rail and an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate add versatility to the cage. Particularly, the Arca-Swiss plate enables a quick switch between handheld, tripod, and gimbal (DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro) modes.
1. Formfitting cage with a new streamlined design gives full access to buttons and ports;
2. Made of ultra-light and high-strength carbon fiber, 20% lighter than aluminum alloy kit and more suitable for handheld and low-angle shooting;
3. Dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission;
4. Multiple accessory mounting points: 1/4"-20 threaded hole, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating hole, cold shoe mount, NATO rail, QD socket for attaching the handle, microphone, LED video light, monitor, etc.;
5. Arca-Swiss quick-release plate for Arca-Swiss tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro gimbals.
