Der von Canon selbst entwickelte 5.9K full frame CMOS-Sensor liefert ein immersives, kinoreifes Erscheinungsbild kombiniert mit natürlichen, sanften Hauttönen und treuer Farbwiedergabe dank Canon colour science.

Der Sensor bietet zudem eine mehr als 15 stops breite Latitude in einem großen Farbraum, ideal für High Dynamic Range-Produktionen.

Hochwertige und effiziente Aufnahmeformate
Die EOS C500 Mark II verfügt über den neu entwickelten DIGIC DV 7 Bildprozessor, der Cinema RAW Light-Aufnahmen intern in 5.9K ermöglicht und zudem das Aufzeichnen von Canons XF-AVC-Format in 4K 4:2:2 10-bit unterstützt. Simultanes Aufzeichnen desselben Dateiformats ist in die dualen CFexpress-Kartensteckplätze möglich, zusätzlich steht ein SD-Kartensteckplatz für Proxy-Dateien zur Verfügung.

Dieses Multi-Recording-Format sorgt für Effizienz und erfüllt Produktionsanforderungen.

5.9K Over Sampling Processing für 4K
Die EOS C500 Mark II verwendet einen hochwertigen Debayering-Algorithmus beim Oversampling von 5.9K für 4K/UHD-Aufnahmen. Dadurch werden Moiré unterdrückt und Rauschen reduziert, was zu einer überlegenen Bildqualität führt.

Kompakt, leicht und zuverlässig
Ein ca. 1.750 g leichtes Gehäuse ermöglicht ein komfortables Rigging mit gimbals und Hand-held rigs, wodurch die Kamera ideal für verschiedene Aufnahmebedingungen ist.

Verschiedene mount- und Objektivoptionen
Die EOS C500 Mark II bietet Unterstützung für optionale austauschbare Mounts, um verschiedenen Projektanforderungen gerecht zu werden.

Der EF lens mount gewährleistet perfekte Kompatibilität mit einer großen Bandbreite an Canon EF-Objektiven einschließlich EF Cine Primes, während der optionale PL mount das Cooke /i system unterstützt. Zusätzlich sind B4 mount Adapter (für EF oder PL mounts) verfügbar, um B4-Objektive zu verwenden.

Hochgradig konfigurierbares und modulares Design
Optionale Extension Units bieten ein flexible modulares Design und Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten, um unterschiedlichen Produktionsanforderungen gerecht zu werden.

Die EOS C500 Mark II verfügt über Canons Dual Pixel CMOS AF Technology, die hochschnellen Continuous AF bietet. Anwender profitieren zudem von einer sanften, intuitiven Touch-Fokus-Bedienung mit dem neuen 4.3-inch LCD monitor LM-V2 sowie einer verbesserten Fokussteuerung, die ein natürlicheres Focus Pulling nachbildet. Zur weiteren Feinabstimmung der AF-Performance bietet die EOS C500 Mark II die Möglichkeit, AF-Tracking-Geschwindigkeit und -Antwort einzustellen.

Dual Pixel Focus Guide
Die Dual Pixel CMOS AF phase-difference technology stellt eine innovative grafische Anzeige bereit, die Vor-/Nachfokusabweichungen darstellt; das Rechteck wird grün, wenn das Motiv scharf ist, und verbessert so die Bedienbarkeit und Genauigkeit beim manuellen Focus Pulling, insbesondere bei kritischem Fokussieren in 4K.

Tracking AF
Einfach den Touchscreen verwenden, um ein Objekt im frame auszuwählen, und es wird beim Bewegen innerhalb dieses Bereichs verfolgt – das ermöglicht müheloses Subject Tracking und nimmt dem Anwender viel Arbeit ab.

Face Priority AF / Face Only AF
In Verbindung mit Canon Face Detection technology erkennt Dual Pixel CMOS AF Gesichter automatisch sehr zuverlässig, fokussiert und verfolgt sie, während sie sich bewegen.

Erste Cinema EOS, die Electronic IS unterstützt
Die EOS C500 Mark II ist die erste Cinema EOS-Kamera, die Electronic Image Stabilization (IS) im Kameragehäuse integriert und eine 5-axis Kameraverwackelungskorrektur unterstützt. Selbst beim Einsatz von Objektiven ohne elektronische Kommunikation ist Electronic IS möglich, indem die Focal Length manuell eingegeben wird.

Ermittelt Focal Length automatisch
Wenn ein Objektiv mit Datenübertragung angeschlossen wird, werden die Focal Length-Daten automatisch über die digitalen Kontakte empfangen, um mit optimiertem Electronic IS zu filmen.

Electronic IS mit nicht-elektrischen Kontaktobjektiven
Aufnahmen mit Electronic IS sind auch möglich, wenn ein Objektiv ohne Datenübertragung angebracht ist, indem einfach die Focal Length manuell eingegeben wird. Es ist zudem mit anamorphotischen Objektiven kompatibel.

Focal Length kann gespeichert werden
Wählen Sie während der Aufnahme einfach die Focal Length aus, um mit einem auf die Einstellungen optimierten Electronic IS-Effekt zu filmen.

Hohe frame Raten
Die EOS C500 Mark II unterstützt hohe frame-Aufnahmen bis zu maximal 50/60 fps bei 5.9K. Im 2K (Crop)-Modus sind Einstellungen von 1 fps bis maximal 120 fps möglich, wodurch die kreativen Möglichkeiten erweitert werden. Das neue Slow & Fast button bietet schnellen Zugriff auf Slow- & Fast-Einstellungen.

Advanced Interface
Die EOS C500 Mark II ist mit einer fortschrittlichen 12G-SDI interface ausgestattet, die im Vergleich zu 3G-SDI die vierfache Bandbreite bietet und 4K-Workflows vereinfacht, indem sie 4K 50/60p über ein einzelnes Kabel ausgeben kann. Ebenso kann die HDMI interface 4K 50/60p über ein einzelnes Kabel liefern.

Vollständiger Frame ND-Filter
Ausgestattet mit einem robusten, eingebauten, elektronisch gesteuerten ND-Filter-System unterstützt die EOS C500 Mark II 2/4/6 sowie erweiterte 8/10 stops, wodurch sich selbst bei Tageslicht ein Bild mit geringer Schärfentiefe erzeugen lässt.

Neues OSD-Layout
Neu hinzugefügte On-Screen Display (OSD)-Peripherieanzeigen, die die Bildschirmanzeige nicht überlagern, sind verfügbar – wählen Sie je nach Bedarf aus mehreren Optionen.

Unterstützung anamorpher Objektive
Die EOS C500 Mark II unterstützt anamorphic lenses, indem das Bild im Sucher und auf angeschlossenen Monitoren elektronisch de-squeezed wird, um die Ansicht zu erleichtern.

Anwender können die volle 5.9K-Auflösung der Kamera nutzen, indem sie 1.3x squeeze anamorphic lenses verwenden. Beliebte 2x squeeze anamorphic lenses (die auf dem Sensor ein natives Seitenverhältnis von 1.2:1 abdecken) können ebenfalls verwendet werden, indem ein 4:3 zugeschnittener Bereich des Sensors genutzt wird.

User LUT-Unterstützung
Anwender können eigene LUTs anpassen und in die Kamera laden, um eine präzise Look-Überwachung zu ermöglichen; außerdem können unterschiedliche LUTs für jeden Ausgangsterminal angewendet werden.

Ein neues dediziertes LUT button bietet zusätzliche betriebliche Flexibilität.

ACES-Unterstützung
Die EOS C500 Mark II unterstützt ACES 1.0 des Academy Color Encoding System. Mit von Canon bereitgestellten IDTs können mit der EOS C500 Mark II aufgenommene Bilder direkt in ACES-kompatible Systeme importiert werden.

Zusätzlich kann das Videosignal der Kamera durch Auswahl des ACES Proxy überwacht werden.
