SmallRig L Winkel für Sony Alpha 7 III / Alpha 7R III / Alpha 9 Kamera 2122D ist speziell für einen schnellen Wechsel zwischen vertikalem und horizontalem Fotografieren sowie für ein besseres Griffgefühl konzipiert. Es sichert die Kamera über eine 1/4"-20 Schraube an der Unterseite und verfügt über Gummipads auf der Basisplatte, um Kratzer und Verdrehen zu verhindern. Sowohl die Basisplatte als auch die Seitenplatte entsprechen den Arca-Swiss Standards mit Mittelpunkten. Die Seitenplatte kann nach links ausgezogen werden, wenn mehr Platz für Tethering oder Kabelauslöser benötigt wird. Die Tür des Batteriefachs verwendet ein Rotationsachsenstrukturdesign, sodass die Batterie durch Drehen und Öffnen der Batterietür schnell gewechselt werden kann. Es verfügt über mehrere 1/4"-20 Gewindelöcher an der Seite für Zubehörbefestigungen wie Cold Shoe Mount BUC2736 und Kabelklemme 2259. Der Griff hat Lederpolster, um den kleinen Finger zu unterstützen und den Griffkomfort zu verbessern. Außerdem bietet die L-Platte Slots für den Tragegurt und wird mit einem Flachschraubendreher geliefert, um die Kameraschraube zu sichern und ihn an der Unterseite des L-Winkels zu verstauen.
