BLK Presentation of Video & Photo Equipment to Aristotle University School of Film

We had the pleasure of presenting the newly acquired professional video and photo equipment, purchased by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, to both students and faculty members.
 
The presentation featured the powerful Blackmagic Pyxis 6K cinema cameras, which offer high-resolution 6K image sensors capable of producing exceptionally sharp and detailed 6K footage. These cinema-grade cameras are designed for professional film and video production, providing advanced color science and dynamic range for cinematic storytelling.
 
Paired with the cameras were a selection of DZOFilm lenses, including prime, anamorphic, and zoom options. These lenses are known for their optical precision, covering a wide range of creative shooting scenarios making them ideal for educational, narrative, and documentary production.
 
To ensure stability and professional handling during filming, we also showcased carbon fiber tripods by Sachtler and Camgear. These lightweight yet highly durable tripods are designed for quick setup and precise camera movements. Their compact form and advanced fluid head systems make them especially suitable for both studio and on-location shoots.

In terms of lighting, the university opted for MZ LED176B and MZ LED336 DMX lights—both of which were demonstrated during the session.
 
This hands-on presentation allowed students and faculty to explore the capabilities of industry-standard equipment, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world media production.
