BLK recently organized a presentation at Helenic open university, where the latest advancements in professional cine, video, and photo equipment were showcased to both students and faculty. This event, designed to support the university's School of Film, emphasized the importance of cutting-edge tools for academic and creative endeavors.

A highlight of the demonstration was the Camera BlackMagic PYXIS 12K Full Frame L, a model engineered to deliver up to 12K resolution with a Full Frame 12K sensor and a 4" LCD touchscreen. This camera provides the high-end imaging capabilities needed for sophisticated cinematic productions, encouraging students to capture their stories with remarkable clarity.

In addition, the Camera BlackMagic URSA Cine 12K FF PL was presented, featuring a full-frame 12K sensor with PL mount and supporting up to 12K at 80fps in 3:2 open gate format. The inclusion of interchangeable lens mounts makes it a versatile choice for diverse production requirements.

Attendees also explored advanced lens options such as the Kit DZOfilm Arcana Anamorphic PL 3-Kit and the Kit DZOfilm Arles Zoom PL-Mount Bundle. These lens kits offer multiple focal lengths, PL mounting, and minimal breathing, providing creative flexibility for both anamorphic and standard shooting configurations.

The hands-on session enabled participants to work directly with industry-grade gear, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world filmmaking. By equipping students and staff with such advanced technology, BLK and Helenic open university are investing in the next generation of filmmakers and content creators.
