Arles Zoom, named after a sunlit city which sparked Van Gogh’s artistic inspiration, indicates a cinema gene with classic and contemporary.
DZOFILM Arles family expands into zooms under the same design philosophy. Powered by the innovative Quad–Synchronized Zoom System, it balances mechanical precision and optical quality to pack a 2.8–3x zoom ratios and 8K resolving power into a compact 1.7kg body for 43.5mm sensor–all while preserving the signature 3D visual character of Arles.

Prime-Level Image Quality Greater Freedom to Zoom
An all–new quad–synchronized zoom mechanism continuously optimizes image–field performance, aberration correction, and resolving power throughout the zoom range. It delivers imaging and depth-of-field performance close to that of prime lenses even when the high-magnification zoom is wide open. It achieves a constant T2.6 large aperture across the 25–180mm focal–length coverage, fully covering the 43.5mm full–frame sensor. The fast aperture combined with the full-frame sensor coverage produces imagery that is richly detailed.

The 100° zoom travel paired with the cam mechanism, 270° of precision focus control, and the smooth bokeh from the 16–blade iris effectively separate the subject from the background, achieving a harmonious and natural transition between in–focus and out–of–focus areas, along with a distinct sense of visual depth that creates a three–dimensional visual experience.

Premium Build Optical Excellence
The Arles Zoom series delivers inherently low distortion. Advanced ED and HRI glass, paired with a precision cam–driven zoom mechanism, enhances resolution, aberration control, backlight contrast, and operational smoothness. Micron–level manufacturing precision, a 100° zoom rotation, and a 270° focus rotation ensure smooth zooming and precise, repeatable focus control. Fluorite–like low–dispersion glass effectively suppresses chromatic, spherical, and coma aberrations while maintaining a compact, lightweight design.

The Arles Look, Now in Zoom
The Arles Zoom series retains its signature low–saturation blue coating, delivering warm, natural tones with a modern yet distinctive character while effectively suppressing flare and ghosting. It also supports high–frame–rate shooting without compromising image quality. Its refined color science renders skin tones naturally and delicately while maintaining consistent color matching across DZOFILM’s new–generation lens lineup. Cinematographers can freely build their ideal lens set for independent productions, small commercial projects, and large–scale film crews.

Parfocal Precision, Immersive Results
The 25–75mm and 65–180mm zooms cover the most frequently used focal lengths, with a practical overlap for greater on-set efficiency. Starting at 65mm, the telephoto zoom supports versatile framing from medium to long telephoto.

Extended zoom coverage reduces lens changes in demanding environments, while the parfocal design maintains focus throughout the zoom range. A consistent focus–ring layout enables intuitive manual and follow–focus operation for smooth, cinematic zoom moves.

Two zooms and eleven matching primes deliver consistent color and minimal focus breathing for a more immersive image in every frame.

Compact Design for Seamless Integration
Delivering both a high zoom ratio and outstanding image quality, the Arles Zooms remain remarkably compact at just 1.77–1.78kg and 17.8–19.0cm in length–similar in compact size, yet significantly elevated in performance.

All 11 Arles primes and 2 zooms share a consistent 95mm front diameter and 86mm filter thread for seamless compatibility with industry–standard accessories. Identically positioned M0.8 focus and iris gears eliminate the need to readjust follow–focus systems and accessories when changing lenses, accelerating on-set workflows.

Arles Zooms have a perfect balance between high quality image and practicality.
As someone that does a lot of documentary and outdoor filmmaking, most of the time on my own, cine zooms can become very useful and suited to my style of shooting and the kind of projects I work on. I've often said that a good cine zoom allows you to shoot anything from interviews, sport, documentaries and even drama or commercials. The Arles series features a short rear assembly and interchangeable PL and EF mounts. Paired with manual, electronic, or VND adapters, it supports E, L, Z, RF, X, and DX mounts with Octopus adapters–ready for handheld, tripod, gimbal, dolly, robotic arm, crane, and remote-head setups across documentaries, narrative films, commercials, automotive shoots, and independent productions.

With Marlin 1.4x PL to E / L / Z / RF expander, the lenses cover select medium–format sensors while extending the zoom ranges to 35–105mm and 91–252mm. High resolution and parfocal performance are retained with minimal image quality loss–unlocking even greater zoom versatility.
